Oh my children/have all the hopes of morrow no one touched me I wasn’t scared but layed helpless on the snow/in darkness my eyes were searching for light my bleeding heart cried in pain and asked why? desperate to see my loved ones put my head to rest and cried silent tears of pain on black-ice only God was one breath away I closed my eyes and used my wish wisely then I kissed my children’s rosebud cheeks.
