How do you say “adieu” to the sun
When rays protrude and fire up your heart? Pretend you need no warmth and then just shun Its radiance? How cursed your depart… How do you turn your back against the moon? You run the streets blindfolded in the night? You make a pact with loneliness, a boon Given to all of us to stop “ignite”? How do you push away the dawn? By choking with morning dew or kill the day’s own birth? By finding reasons why you should be gone And keep rejecting saddling with girth? How do you say "adieu"?
